East Durham Homes Ltd is a Registered Provider of social housing with 8,300 homes in East Durham.

Initially established in 2004 as an Arm’s Length Management Organisation (ALMO) to manage, repair and improve council owned housing in the former District of Easington in County Durham, East Durham Homes is now a landlord in its own right.

Part of County Durham Housing Group, together with Dale & Valley Homes and Durham City Homes, the group was established in April 2015 following the transfer of ownership and management of Durham County Council’s former 19,000 homes.
