New Senior Manager Appointments
New Senior Managers take up roles at East Durham Homes
Following a recent restructure East Durham Homes has appointed 2 people to join its Senior Management Team. Paul Mains has been appointed as Assistant Chief Executive and Michael Doyle as Director of Neighbourhood Services. The appointments will strengthen the Senior Management Team structure.

Paul Mains, previously Director of Housing Maintenance at Blyth Valley Housing commenced employment with East Durham Homes on the 16th June.

Michael Doyle, currently Head of Improvement at South Tyneside Homes will start on the 1st July.
Paul Mains said: “I have worked in housing for 21 years, whilst at Blyth Valley Housing we had two inspections from the Audit Commission which achieved a good 2 star rating on each occasion. I am looking forward to working with the residents and staff at East Durham Homes to improve services that meet the aspirations of customers.”
He added: “I am committed to involving customers and listening to their views so we can shape service delivery around individual need. I hope the experience I have gained at Blyth Valley Housing can help East Durham Homes achieve their goals.”
Michael Doyle said: “The experience I have gained at Gateshead Housing and more recently South Tyneside Homes will help me in my goal of delivering customers aspirations at East Durham Homes. Having recently been involved in a successful inspection by the Audit Commission I know what a difference it can make to tenants and staff.”
