Wingate and Station Town Residents Association Needs You!
East Durham Homes is looking to start a new residents association for Wingate and Station Town as there isn't one in the area at the moment.
The association will give a voice to the residents of Wingate and Station Town, to get answers from those who provide services to them and enable them to speak for the community they live in. The association will empower tenants to act together to overcome the challenges faced by the community and to provide a focal point for other agencies such as the police to contact the community. Meetings will be held once a month at a local venue.
To find out more about the association and to register an interest in taking part we are holding an open day for the tenants and residents of Wingate and Station Town.
The event will take place on:
Tuesday 6 November at Dormand Villas, Station Town
You can drop in any time between 3pm and 7pm
As well as finding out about the residents association other EDH staff will be available to give information on customer involvement, welfare/debt advice and estate management. Everyone is welcome to come along and find out how you can help make a difference to your local community.
