East Durham Homes Ltd manages approximately 8,500 homes, and is working to improve council housing within the District.
How is East Durham Homes run?
East Durham Homes is managed by a Board of Directors made up of 15 members, they are represented as follows:
Five tenant representatives
Five council representatives
Five independent members selected by the Board
The Board sets overall targets and budget for the company and manages all district wide housing services.
The board is supported by the Chief Executive and Directors and meets regularly to make decisions about the way that the ALMO will deliver services and make major improvements to housing in the District.
