Service standards (Anti-social behaviour)
We will:
- deal with anti-social behaviour as a priority within set timescales
- visit you within one working day if you are suffering any form of harassment, hate crime, physical assault, domestic violence or threats of violence
- visit you within 3 working days if you report other types of anti-social behaviour
- Meet in a place that suits you
- use mediation to try to resolve disputes between neighbours
- keep you informed of progress by contacting you at least every 2 weeks
- deal firmly with people who persistently act in an anti-social way
- write to let you know the outcome
- support victims and witnesses
- work with the police and other agencies to stop anti-social behaviour
- work with residents to create safer communities
- carry out educational programmes to help prevent anti-social behaviour.
