Older person's forum

We have been trying to set up an older person's forum, and last year we visited various venues in the area to find out if people would be interested in doing this.

We received a positive response and the 1st forum meeting took place in August 2009 to discuss issues that may affect people over a certain age.  It was agreed by members of the group to meet quarterly.

As well as housing issues group members have dicussed a range of issues with expert speakers from transport, enforcement support and dealing with anti-social behaviour, care wardens service and health related services.
