How will I know when you will call

When a safety check is due we will:
  • Send out a letter 4 weeks before your current safety certificate expires giving you a date and time of when our engineer will visit.

  • If this is not convenient you can contact us on 0800 032 0835 and arrange another time.

  • If you are not in when the engineer calls to carry out the check, a card is left asking you to contact us within two days to make another appointment.  If you do not do this we will write to you and ask you to make contact.

Win free heating for a year!

If you let us in on the first visit to carry out your gas or solid fuel safety check you will be entered into a prize draw to win the value of your previous year's fuel bill (up to a maximum of £1,000).

What do you need to do? It's easy; you just need to keep your first gas or solid fuel servicing appointment with us!

The prize draw will be made at the end of February when we have completed all of the annual services.

Please don't be one of the few people who each year makes it difficult for our engineers to get into their home to carry out this essential work.

If you persistently refuse access to your home for a safety check then a GASP safety cut off device will be fitted to ensure your safety.  This device will inform you a month in advance of the due date of the annual gas service.  If you fail to contact us within that month then it will shut off your gas appliance completely until the service is carried out.

If you can't keep your appointment with us, please let us know.  If you don't that time is wasted and someone else could have had the appointment.

If you regularly miss appointments, don't allow us entry or don't make contact with us then a personal visit will be made to your home.  Should we still not be able to get access we will have to issue a formal notice warning that we will start legal proceedings to gain entry.  If we are forced to gain entry you will be charged the cost.
