Get involved
We believe that leaseholders should have a voice and play and active role in the way in which we provide our services and we actively involve leaseholders in our decision making.
Ways you can get involved as a leaseholder
- Leaseholder service review panel
- Leasehold forums
- Joining your nearest tenants and residents association
- Home visits
Because your views are important to us and we understand you may not be able to attend meetings through work or other commitments we would like to widen ways for you to have say and invite you to contact us by email, telephone or letter with suggested topics for discussion.
Become a board director
As a leaseholder you are able to apply to become a board director of East Durham Homes. Membership gives you the right to vote in important decisions. Don't worry if you think you might not have the right skills to get involved. You don't need any previous experience in housing. Your skills and knowledge will build with your involvement and you will be fully supported by staff.
If you would like to know how you can make a difference by getting involved please contact your leasehold and service charge officer.
