Empty properties
When a property becomes empty, our engineers will isolate the gas supply for safety. All empty properties will be inspected and a safety certificate issued at the time of letting to a new customer.
Before these checks are carried out, it is the tenant's responsibility to tell us:
- If there is a gas and/or electric supply connected to the property.
- If there is a gas and/or electric meter connected to the property.
- If there is a key or card meter is installed, there is a minimum of £5 credit on each meter.
To book your safety check before moving in, please allow at least 3 working days for the appointment.
