Customer training programme
We value your help in improving our services. To help you feel you can play a full part, we offer a range of training opportunities.
Some of these courses are run by our staff and some by external organisations to ensure the best and most suitable training.
All the courses are free and we can help with the cost of transport and childcare.
The courses will be held at venues across the area. Dates and venues will be arranged depending on the level of interest for each course. Once enough people sign up for a course, we will arrange a convenient time and venue for attendees.

- IT skills
- Producing newsletters
- Minute taking
- Roles of Committee Members
- Traveller awareness training
- Equality and diversity
- Basic gardening skills
- Basic DIY skills
- Basic decorating skills
- Training on the services we provide.
The training promises to be fun, informative and useful, and support is available to help people who have specific needs, including:
- transport to courses
- language interpreters
- specific equipment
- help with childcare/care costs
- information in other languages.
We will also offer refreshments during courses and on a full day course we will provide a buffet lunch.
